Guest guest
Wow, that sounds awesome. I just put another True Orange Pie (this time it's bigger) in the oven. I gave some to my neighbor across the street yesterday so that's the end of that pie. lol She LOVED it. Oh, this morning at breakfast there was a new waitress. I took out my little bag of sprouts, she walks over and says " Oh look she brought sprouts " . I said " you know about sprouts?? " . She said " sure, I love them, those are alfalfa right?? " I looked at her and beamed and said: " Nope, this are broccoli, radish, alfalfa and god only knows what others " . She burst out laughing and I said 'take some " . She popped some in her mouth and said " delicious'. I then told her about my microgreening in my living room. Hey, one baby step at a time lol Melody
Guest guest
they sound good. I have had the recipe for a while but haven't made them. My husband doesn't care for kale but I've always liked it. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Sunday, April 15, 2012 9:35 AM Subject: Re: I made kale chips (and threw some sunnies in there too)  Carolyn: The kale chips have the exact same crunch as if eating a potato chip. Alan just asked me " Can you make larger pieces so I can use them with salsa? " I said 'absolutely " . So happy crunchy. This is the best thing for people on low carb diets, who want to eat one of the healthiest immune boosting veggies n the planet. AND THEY SOUND LIKE POTATO CHIPS when you eat them. And if you sprinkle some grated cheese, well just imagine!!! lol Melody
Guest guest
I wonder what they eat it with. Just chew off the leaves from the stem? Wonder if the stem is tough if it is larger? I think the smaller sized kale would be good. If I find that link, I'll forward it.
