Funny this should come up. I was just applying some Q-tape (Premier Research) under on breaker box when a friend came over with her guass (sp?) meter. I had declined the smart meter on our house (thank God I caught them in the installation act - they said after six months I would have to pay to have someone come out to read the regular meter). With the installation on my neighbor's house two months prior, my chemically-sensitive child has not been able to sleep -- Mind you, this meter is ten feet from his bed on the side of their house. back to my friend. When we tested the neighbor's meter the reading was off the chart (over 1800-- I believe that is volts). When we walked eight feet to test mine, it was around the 1300

mark. We tested the closet that backs up to my breaker box (outdoors) and it was about 600. We went back outdoors to install the Q-tape. When we re-tested it was through the roof. The Qtape did was it should...... it deflected the voltage away from the house. Now, it is my close neighbor who will feel the effects... not my child. btw He slept an extra four hours last night. If you are trying to take a precautionary approach and limiting your

manufacturers are putting now putting wireless transmitters in washing
