Guest guest Posted July 12, 2012 Report Share Posted July 12, 2012 Yay! I just decanted my first full batch of KT! The Grolsch bottles are excellent... I kept around 8 oz of starter KT and my lovely thickening scoby to start the next full batch. Since I want to do continuous brewing, I have a couple questions... If I understand correctly, the idea of CB is to decant periodically and refresh with sweet tea as needed. This is how I think it would look, please correct me if I'm wrong... Let's say about a week in, I decant a quart or so, and then make about the same volume of tea to add to what remains. And do this every few days or so. Is this the idea behind CB? If not, please 'splain for me. Any problems I should watch for? Once newbies get up to speed on KT consumption, how much does the average person drink in a day?
