Guest guest
 It doesn't matter that it is not all soybean? Have you ever shredded it and mixed it with some ground meat (I usually use round or chuck but husband sometimes gets sirloin) and mix it 50/50 and make patties with it or other recipes that you would use ground beef with? If you sliced it like cheese would it be good on something? Here is what I purhase. http://www.lightlife.com/Vegan-Food-Vegetarian-Diet/Organic-Three-Grain-Tempeh There are other flavors but Shoprite only carries the 3 grain kind. I would try others if I could find another place. Perhaps I will when I go into the City. this stuff is amazing. I cut it in squares, add a dash of sesame oil and put it in the salads. Very healthy. It's vegan and I don't miss any kind of meat when I eat this. I also use tumeric every day also. So I try and do my best to eat as healthfully as I know how. Let me know if you ever try this. And I'm happy I don't have to make my own. lol Melody > > That was very informative. You make your own, I suppose. they made it sound easy but I'd be afraid I'd poison myself. It sounds interesting. I wish I could go someplace like whole foods and try some of it out. I can't seem to add some of my favorites anymore as my yahoo headings or the things at the top are gone now. I am not sure what happened. I don't like when they change to something else as it confuses me. I guess I don't take change as much when I age. > > > Carolyn Wilkerson > > >  > > > To: sproutpeople > Sent: Friday, May 18, 2012 10:30 PM > Subject: Re: Hi from Wyoming > > >  > Carolyn: > > Go here and you'll learn all about Tempeh.
