Guest guest
to my understanding most insurances will cover the damage done by the water leak but wont cover mold. Reason being is mold is due to negligence. I would imagine that every insurance and their policy' differ, the best thing to do is call your insurance this way there's no question on your coverage > > Has anybody experience with my problem: > > We had a water leak causing mold in the bathroom. The reason was a defect in the toilet. > Is there any change it might be covered by the homeowner insurance? > Mold is included, but in this case the mold came after the water leak. > > Unfortunately we have been away for some days. >
Guest guest
Perhaps if the amt of mold is reasonable for the amt of time you were gone, would be covered, but might not matter. If they repair water damaged area, will probably take care of the mold anyway. > > > > Has anybody experience with my problem: > > > > We had a water leak causing mold in the bathroom. The reason was a defect in the toilet. > > Is there any change it might be covered by the homeowner insurance? > > Mold is included, but in this case the mold came after the water leak. > > > > Unfortunately we have been away for some days. > > >
