Guest guest
It seems like thre is a test for VIP. Do you know which one it is? and if it were low, would you be able to get a normal run of the mill doctor to prescribe it and is this avaliable? Guest guest
Having read this about VIP I wonder if having problems with fat (don't laugh) is from this lack. I started having problems with the intestines after being in the moldy room for a year. I always had a cast iron stomahc too. Now I have lipoms all over and they are places it causes pain like on tendons or over the sciatic area. Does anyone else have this problem? I read it was from not metabolizing fats. Guest guest
There is a test for VIP levels. Look on Dr. Shoemaker's website or in his book. Mine was <10 but increased with the use of VIP! It seems like thre is a test for VIP. Guest guest
Thanks for the info. I have been a patient of Dr. Shoemaker's since '03 and see him every 6 months. Blood is always monitored and I use it 2X a day. Hope you can feel some better soon. This is where I started to run into problems... Initiatally my intergrative doc ran my testing an I was low at 6 so he was able to order the VIP for me and I noticed some difference. THEN I went and heard a lecture by DR. SHOEMAKER he was very specific about not taking the VIP unless our staph cultures (deep nasal) were negative and our MSH was not low or we could run into big time problems with out pancreas he said. I went back and told my intergrative doc about this and he was abit taken back since he wasn't aware of this latest. He looked at my results and I was positive for deep nasal staph and my msh is kind of low. I had been put on high doses of antibiotics and my life has taken a turn for the worse. I can not get my life back for the past couple of weeks. I feel awful. I can`t get in to see my intergrative person because he is away. Iam chacking it up to candia and trying to rid myself of the build up. I already had an excess before this regiment of antibiotic`s... Be careful .... is not as easy as taking VIP..like I once thought..

Guest guest
In Surviving Mold, Dr Shoe says he uses a nasal spray from Hopkinton Drug, has EDTA in it to kill biofilm and bacteria > > > > > > There is a test for VIP levels. Guest guest
I just got my results from LabCorp - they couldnt detect VIP in my blood (<10). Dr Shoemaker says in his new book this is linked to chemical sensitivity, among other things. It also regulates cAMP that regulates blood flow in the capillaries. etc i hope it will raise back up
Guest guest
I've seen this acronym on this list a zillion times and with many inquiries as to what it is. I still don't know what VIP is. Will the posters of acronyms be so kind as to occasionally explain - especially for new members of the list. Any would you be so courteous as to answer those who inquire?
