Guest guest
Perhaps it is time to start boycotting corn. This could be difficult, as corn is an ingredient in many of our food products. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if millions of people made a statement that they will not tolerate GM corn in their diets? I have slowly been eradicating corn from my family’s diet. The only corn that we have in the freezer is organic corn. I am also reading cereal labels more closely now, and am not buying any cereals that contain corn, unless it is certified as organic. Anything to avoid Monsanto/Dow chemicals,… Aasa From: EOHarm [mailto:EOHarm ] On Behalf Of Rmoffi@...Sent: February-18-12 1:48 PMTo: EOHarm Subject: Re: Dow and Monsanto join foces .... Guest guest
You'll need to start buying organic bedding as well as they are in the gmo cotton-producing business as well. And, we all know how bad soy is even if it's not gmo. To: EOHarm Sent: Saturday, February 18, 2012 9:04 PM Subject: RE: Re: Dow and Monsanto join foces .... Guest guest
The best thing to do is, when out in public, have conversations about same and hope the person next to you listens and heeds. Guest guest
You never know what the person next to you will notice and heed when you are out in public. Sometimes, you don’t even need to have a “conversation” with them, but merely be there, you and your child. I heard part of a rather remarkable program about ASD on CBC today, while driving around on our Ontario “Family Day”, looking after the needs of our oft neglected family van. I don’t know whether this program is available in the States, but it is worth listening to, for anyone who can get access to it:http://www.cbc.ca/ideas/episodes/2010/07/30/ducks-on-the-moon-listen/ .
