Guest guest
Hi ,No, you can't get it separately, but who would want to? It has now been documented that this pertussis "outbreak" we've been experiencing in CA and elsewhere has actually been caused and perpetuated by the DTaP (and TDaP) vaccine itself. The vaccine directly caused the vaccine strain to mutate into a more virulent and resistant strain which isn't even contained in the vaccine. So all these scare tactics and threatening letters they send out to parents demanding proof of pertussis vaccination for 7-12th graders or they will ban them from school, is all for a vaccine that doesn't even contain the strain causing the illness. Not that it would matter anyway. They are causing untold harm to countless children for zero benefit!I have a relative who asked if they can get just that vaccine separately. Do any of you know, and can you also give me any of the negatives associated with that particular vaccine to pass along? Thanks in advance! Guest guest
Yes, those are all thoughts I planned to include for sure. And if anyone has any research, links to share, please do! For example, which component of the DPT combo is most associated with seizure disorder and brain inflammation? And isn't a component of that vaccine also linked to asthma? Just trying to get my facts straight before I write back. Too many facts are all jumbled together in my elderly brain:) > > > > > > > I have a relative who asked if they can get just that vaccine separately. Guest guest
you can only get pertussis in combo with diphtheria and tetanus - it has always been that way NO vaccine gives immunity - all carry harm on some level, either immediate or later Sheri At 07:11 AM 5/23/2012, you wrote: I have a relative who asked if they can get just that vaccine separately.
