Surella, I get this really weird hunger pains that will NOT go away not matter

what I eat. It happens every once in awhile. I hate it. Usually at night when

I don't want to eat so much that I then couldn't sleep bec of full stomach.

I've tried high calorie foods, tried nutrient dense foods, nothing seems to

work, so I keep trying, may go into next day before it's resolved. I also have

wondered what they were. Have theorized low blood sugar or missing an important

nutrient, maybe not enough protein, not enough fiber...don't know. When I have

excessive thirst I wonder if my kidneys need flushing out and are calling for

that. I don't ignore it, I drink until I relieve it. It might take awhile to

go away.

> I started this diet about a month ago and have felt really good on days when I

felt good but also have had 3 of the worst migraines I have had in a long time

this month. Detoxing?

> I'm also experiencing alot of thirst even though my drinking hasn't changed

and I drink alot. I also get an empty feeling, like I can't eat enough to feel

full, even after a really good meal.

> Anyone experiencing these symptoms? I know because of the MCS I am probably

missing some nutrient or vitamin somewhere or should I be eating gluten after

all?

A couple of my own theories. Now that you're not inflamed from gluten, the empty

feeling feels unfamiliar. I used to drink a thick shake until I was bloated... &

then feel like crap again :-). Also, gall bladder problems sometimes feel like

hunger... & can give you heartburn. I just started Planetary Formulas Stone Free

again. It really helps kidney & gall bladder but gently. I take 5 first thing in

the morning & go back to bed for 1 1/2 hours. I usually take 2 or 3 bottles in a

row if I can deal with the hassle for that long. Dr Schultz has a tea & tincture

that's more potent. Then there's Hulda 's liver/gall cleanse that's rough,

takes a couple days out of your life, does the job, & leaves you so cleaned out

you can't tolerate oils (olive etc) for a loooong time.

That's the only thing that has ever shown up in imaging my GI system even though

I have GI problems from time to time, is what doctor described as 'slug' in my

gallbladder. I asked what to do about it and he said 'nothing' (of course),

said almost everyone has it. Of course most people he sees have GI problems

since he is GI doctor. Anyway, haven't done anything about it. The Hudda

cleanse sounds brutal, a little afraid of that.

Ok interesting-pasta DID used to make me feel bloated. My Mom suggested eating

more raw veggies and when I do the empty feeling is less so I have to find the

right combo.

And Barb-it's not so much hunger pains for me-it's just a weird empty feeling

like when I've fasted. It's not uncomfortable just...empty.

But your theories all make sense-I guess I have to adapt to this " new " way of

feeling good.

Thanks! Surella
