Guest guest
I may be alone in this but I don't really read or care about the science. When I was sick I couldn't understand it anyway, and now that I'm better it's just alot of blah blah blah that I look at quickly and if it doesn't relate to me explicitly I don't read it. Don't think I'm a fool-I have a master's degree in literature and I'm not stupid but sometimes too much info is not going to help at all. I understand the basics of mold. Certainly, I understand what bothers me. When I come here I want exact, practical help for an immediate problem and I leave the science to people who like that kind of info. Can't we do both? Surella > > This is ridiculous. The two lists and the fighting and the jumping on new folks for asking the same questions over and over is what is wrong. > > I did just join the extreme list to ask questions. I have a mind. I dont see being afraid of information unless one is not convinced their info is right.. and if thats the case.. I would like to know. > > I am not using thieves. Guest guest
Robin how in the world would I know the answer to that question, than again how would anyone know the answer? These are the facts, we had mold in our a/c coils, the a/c was turned on and the spores were dispersed through out the house and I became ill. What exactly is making me ill I'll ever know but I do know that I feel better when I leave the house so much so that Im going to move and leave everything behind. If you would care to share your opinion I would be more than happy to hear it. > > Are you cross contaminating with mold spores, fragments, or potential mycotoxin gasses (controversial concept I dare to bring up.. some say these exist separately as gasses that can permeate items and others say they exist attached to the spores and finer particles). > > Robin
Guest guest
That would be nice. > > I may be alone in this but I don't really read or care about the science. Guest guest
I also jugest that if people want to believe that mycotoxins offgas after they have been told here repeatedly that they dont, they are not souluable, they are a toxic particle, they do not offgas. confermed by Thrasher and I think by Carl too. than they need to stay in the extreme reactors group where mycotoxins do somehow manage to offgas and in no way is that related to the byproducts of mold or mvoc's. I'm sick off hereing about this too, if you coise to believe a long lived extremest touting that he can smell mycotoxins in a plastic bag and thats all he reacts to, than do so, but keep it where it belongs, in the extreme reactors group, where obviously extreme is the word and science takes a back seat to what people want to believe. > > Are you cross contaminating with mold spores, fragments, or potential mycotoxin gasses (controversial concept I dare to bring up.. some say these exist separately as gasses that can permeate items and others say they exist attached to the spores and finer particles). > > Robin >
Guest guest
I give up. If you moderate this group would you please put in bold print all of your requirements of members on the home page and then post to the group? This is offensive. And too stressful. Im going to to pick and choose emails that I open and if that doesnt work for me, Im out of here. I dont know what happened to cause this obvious split and dont care at this point.. I do care about my right to ask questions and to even question any expert, even Carl and Dr. Thrasher... or whom I am guessing is the enemy. I dont know for sure who is right and have the right to have questions until I am convinced one way or another. Guest guest
Robin, I'm sorry if you and some other new members feel a lack of patience with your questions. This usually is not the case. Ask whatever question you want. Regarding severe reactors: If advice you get here on simple cross contamination steps don't seem to work for you, you are still reacting even when taking reasonable care to not cross contaminate, then you may be more sensitive than the norm and the severe reactors group was set up specifically for you by a member here. As far as I know there is no war between groups or hostility. There may be some hostility between individuals but not the groups that I know of. Members who have been here longer, please show more patience and be more helpful with new member questions!!! > > > > > > Are you cross contaminating with mold spores, fragments, or potential mycotoxin gasses (controversial concept I dare to bring up.. some say these exist separately as gasses that can permeate items and others say they exist attached to the spores and finer particles). > > > > > > Robin > > > > > >
