Trying to make Kombucha work

Sometime ago I quit drinking kombucha because it just didn't work for me. I am

too sensative to the sugar and even with the vinegar it gives me wart like

things on the inside of my nose that you can't see but that are painful. I

tried taking the vinegar and heating it on the stove to kill the bacteria so I

wouldn't make my nose break out and drinking that with water. I am thinking

hoping that way I can get the benefits of all the wonderful acids it produces

without the bad side effects. Besides I make kefir and get pro-biotics that way

so I don't need the probiotics in kombucha so much. Would like to know anyone's

thoughts on this.

Thanks,
