Guest guest
Hi, Everyone....Debbie...glad to hear from you. I was told years ago to use Benadryl whenever we wanted Gareth to sleep. After he went on the Risperdal, he has slept all through the night and doesn't need it anymore. For me, though, I still use the Benadryl whenever I need a good nights sleep. It is non-habit forming and doesn't leave me dopey and drowsy for half the morning. I have found, though, that I can only use the dye-free capsules since I am sensitive to red dye in my 'ole age!!! Melatonin did the opposite for me when I tried it for myself. I was flying higher than a kite all night on just one tablet!!! Also, sleep apnea can cause kids to waken often. Gareth uses a C-Pap machine at night. Donnell....glad you made out OK with DJ and the dental work. Take care, Everyone. Margaret
