Guest guest
What you may won't to do is have your urine tested for Tricothecenes. This is the mycotoxin produced by Stachy. If you can afford have all 3 done. Trics, Aflatoxins, and Ochratoxins You can have it done by Realtime labs.  The web site might still be having some difficultys but can also order them through Direct labs.com Where there is Stachy is usually a lot more fungi All the best and sorry your not feeling good K From: catherine <ce_hansen@...> Subject: [] Why won't labs test your blood for stachy and chaetomium? Guest guest
To complicate matters further.. I just got my labs back from Real Time Lab and all three mycotoxins are testing as NOT PRESENT. More confusion.. is this test known for absolute accuracy? You call Real Time Lab and they are very helpful.. I dont think you can get through direct labs but could be wrong. My IgE mold panel was also neg and the stachy IgG or IgM (which ever they test for.. only one of them) was also negative. Yet.. I have this lung reaction and sinus, brain inflammation that is no dounbt here and which I can specifically connect to dust and our lanudry room (feel pretty certian it is the lint). Babesia can cause lung symptoms but I dont think the RAD kind.. more pressure and breathlessness.. I dont the burning and inflammatory reaction directly from nose, sinuses into brain. Lyme can cause brain inflammation as can babesia but I dont think directly this way. Very confusing. Guest guest
Robin, I react very strongly to laundry lint if it contains enzymes. Check the label and be sure that there are no enzymes in your detergent. (We've had this discussion on the board before.) All-Free and Arm and Hammer detergent currently have no enzymes, but always check the label as ingredients can change at any time. Seventh Generation does have enzymes.
