Hey margaret, we're going tomorrow AM for the UGI barium xray zippideeedoodah

good time.

Apparently jamie has to show up fasting at 9:00AM (it's a 45 min drive) then she

will be registered and have 8-10 oz of gunk to swallow then stay still in

between swallows while they take xrays. hahahahahahahahaha. Last time we had a

video swallow test where they used different food textures and a speech

theraspist was there to evaluate. You're going for the xray not the video

swallow right?

I am hoping she doesn't have some kind of yukky reaction later on to this stuff.

Right afterwards we have to take her upstairs for bloodwork.

I found out medicaid does cover this major inflammation test that goes to

California. Thanks for bringing it up or I wouldn't have thought to ask.

We've been supplementing her with the iron and the calcium and the VitD and she

has been getting meaner and nastier and more aggressive and horrible everyday. I

was scared she was going completely crazy till last night I gave her a break

from the supplements and also this morning. Today she is smiling and being

cooperative and happy. This is driving me nuts...I know she needs the

supplements but she can't take them and they never seem to " get " it. Maybe if we

find out what's happening with the gut we can take some steps to prevent the

loss of all these nutrients. I don't know what? enzymes maybe? Who knows.

Oh well we'll be thinking of you and report back...you're going Thursday right?
