I am very proud to announce that on Sat the 17th Casey Burgener

snatched 180 kilos and clean and jerked 224 kilos for a total of 404

kilos to qualify as our 105+ Weightlifter in Beijing.

Great story on . Reminds me of my own daughter who has gone

through similar experiences making our Olympic team in Judo.

By the way, would you please explain the selection process for making

the team? Why only three athletes?
