Hi Deb,

I could imagine there being a divergence of opinions on the matter of whether

to boil or not to boil. ;-)

I like the idea of drinking the sun! I remember from my young days in

Germany, there was always some water left standing in the sun, " sunwater " ,

which was considered extra efficacious for bathing and washing especially.

My take is: If the water has been well irradiated by the sun which has a

strong antibacterial effect, you should be o.k. using that tea for making

your new batch. Just make sure you use a generous amount of acidic starter,

cover and place out of direct sunlight.

Should work well.

All best with blessings!

Margret:-)

Margret, I am curious, wasnt it you or perhaps it was Bev, that only boils

a concentrated solution of water for the tea. And then adds unboiled water

later. Reason being, she doesnt have to wait for a bigger vessel to cool

down.

Hi ,

I do that, our water is filtered municipal well water that has been chlorinated

and then the filter removes the chlorine and other contaminants.

Have used this method for many years with no problems. Would only use it if sure

the water is not contaminated in any way,

Peace, Love and Harmony,

Bev
