Guest guest
i took my son to a neurologist who said he thought there was nothing wrong with him neuro wise, whereas dr gray diagnosed him with toxic encephalopathy, his qeeg at dr cragos was indicative of toxic mold exposure and a brief neuropsych testing at dr didriksen in dallas who works with dr rea was indicative of the kind of damage caused by toxic exposure, so in our case the neurologist was a waste of time..... still, if covered by insurance, what do you have to loose except some time and nerves sue v >I was wondering if a neurologist working in mainstream medicine would >ever make the diagnosis of Toxic Encephalitis or would he have to be >involved with Enviromental Medicine or Toxicology? Guest guest
I went to a neurologist who took about 15 minutes with me. He asked me to remember three words, walk about 8 feet in the room, and checked my reflexes. I could only remember two words but he helped me with the other one, I asked about a balance test but he said he didn't do that, I asked if he knew anything about mold or chemical problems and he didn't. It cost me $ 10 but now I have a neurologist statement saying I am prefectly fine. If you can't find one who deals with these issues and GIVES A DAMN then don't bother. It pretty much has to slap them in the face otherwise they don't get it. Meredith
