Guest guest
thank you so much for your reply. We had Carl Grimes come and take a look at the crawl space and rather than me try to explain what was going on down there (its late and Im getting sleepy) hopefully he'll see this post and better explain what was going on down there. I can tell you this, the mold on the a/c coils was more than likely the main reason why I was getting sick and the spores that it's released into the house are the reason why Im still not feeling well. My symptoms vary from day to day, today for whatever reasons I felt exceptionally well but it was cloudy here all day and never got above 85 its when the sun is shinning and it gets in the 90 degree range that I really get slammed with brain fog and an extremely stiff neck. I thought allot about being sensitive to the heat but I go to the gym almost on a daily, when Im finished working out I hit the sauna for 15 minutes and the heat doesn't effect me in the least so I think its safe to say that Im not hypersensitive to heat. I apologize if Im not making much sense, like I said its late and Im getting extremely sleepy. Guest guest
Tug, this is the key to me, because I had same thing in my house, when you say: 'when sun is shining and it is hot'. That was case with my house, because sun is hitting your roof in summer and attic gets very hot and that hot air seeps down into house through wall cavities taking 'whatever' with it, coming in to air space through gaps in wall and floor , outlet holes, in kitchen, maybe through gaps between wall and pipes, maybe more holes in walls and ceiling in kitchen due to everything that needs to be installed there: plumbing or there is contamination back there from old plumbing leak that is forced out into interior air from hot air coming down from attic...I bet. I've been round and round about this in my house and steps I take based on that theory work. Seal up any holes you have in kitchen, including windows and around pipes, ceiling light, caulk them all up and see if air seems better to you. That's what I would do. If anyone doubts the effects of hot attic on house, you haven't been to my house on an overcast day and then return on a sunny hot day. There is no mistaking it.
