Guest guest
My 11-year-old HFA son thinks all these educational apps are boring. They also target much younger children at basic educational levels. Does your company produce any progressive and exciting apps that can help teach him about appropriate boundaries and appropriate behavioral response to situations (like what to do when he's mad or angry)? Debra Hey guys! I am new to this forum and want to introduce myself and my new company. I am a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and have been involved with the autism community for six years. Recently, I have started working towards incorporating ABA techniques with current technology in order to make effective therapies available to everyone. My Program Book LLC currently has eight applications in the iTunes App store and will be releasing approximately five app's per week in the weeks to come. Current apps target various skills such as receptive colors, same vs. different, and word association, as well as many others. Our applications are currently available for both the iPad and iPhone. We currently have a promotion for companies interested in using our apps. If your company purchases 15 My Program Book (MPB) apps, then we will place your company name and logo on the opening screen for one of the upcoming apps. It's a great way to advertise! If you are interested in learning more, please contact us myprogrambook@... and like us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/MyProgramBook. The following are links to current applications available in the iTunes app store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/artist/my-program-book/id518792135 Thanks, Carl Dzyak
Guest guest
Hello Debra, Thanks you for your response. Currently we are targeting receptive language apps that would probably be inappropriate for you son. However, the company is definately moving in the direction of social and pragmatic language and we will be happy to pass along the information when those apps are finished. Guest guest
Great! FYI...most HFA kids like mazes, numbers and video games. Please avoid using cartoon-type characters. Many older HFA kids do not like characters and will not play anything that uses them, or will only play with certain ones (very absolute). So, to avoid turning off a large perspective audience, using shapes or cars would probably be better. Hello Debra, Thanks you for your response. Guest guest
Agreed- my tween also loves, loves, loves anything that incorporates music, or allows her to play her own music while playing. > > > > > > > ** > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hey guys! > > > > > > > > I am new to this forum and want to introduce myself and my new > > company.
