Guest guest
personally I would only look at mattresses made out of natural materials like wool, cotton or 100% natural latex, unfortunately they are mostly pretty expensive. I did find an almost unused used organic mattress off craigslist. Most mattresses are treated with chemical fire retardants (in some states that's the law) and other chemicals. In some states you need a doctor's order to be able to buy an untreated mattress. The cheapest natural mattresses may be cotton futons, and you can find organic cotton futons which is not only a good idea for you but also for our planet because cotton is one of the most heavily sprayed crops. Good luck, look online, shop around. Guest guest
The double high air mattresses are very comfortable and make it easy to get up. They also are very cheap-which is the main thing mold victims need. They will mold because the moisture from your body will condense on top of the matress. I think this is preferable to the moisture going into the mattres. Just pull back the bed clothes every mornig to let everything dry, and wash the matress top often. > > what matress is a SAFE brand to buy? keep in miind we don't have a lot of money to buy the best. just need an ok one. been sleeping on the floor w/an air matress for almost two yrs now. > [] select comfort > > Hi all, > > I had found info about mold in these mattresses before I bought a new mattress. Guest guest
I got my mattress from Curb Side Outlet, and it is a good mattress. Sprayed it with Fabreeze and tad dahhhhhh.  Sleep like a baby. God blesses me. B. Guest guest
I don't know what to say about what is safe and what isn't. Everything we buy today seems to have chemicals which is why we are all sick. I get myself so worked up, nervous and worry about every little thing, I have tried really had to do the best I can and take care of what we bring into and use in the house. I know the world, unfortunately, has become a toxic dump but I have come to realize I can't change it by myself & it most likely isn't going to change even by a large group. So I avoid what makes me sick as much as I possibly can. If I had one wish it would be for all the chemicals to go away then our families, friends and ourselves would be safe. I'll keep hoping and praying and doing all I can to change what I can. I'm going up right now to check my bed again. Haven't done it since Christmas so now I'm all worked up about it. Take care everyone and stay well. Sue R. The double high air mattresses are very comfortable and make it easy to get up. They also are very cheap-which is the main thing mold victims need.
