Guest guest
Well, in my neck of the woods they had a sale of buy one package of organic chia (this was in GNC) and get the second one for 1/2 price. I grabbed them. Have LOTS of chia seeds now. I mix them up with the flax. Last night as I was passing a neighbor's house (their BACKYARD is on the side of their house so everybody was sitting having a barbecue). I shouted HI and I was invited to sit with them and share their meal. I had already eaten but everything looked great. My neighbor introduced me and said " Do you know what she does? She SPROUTS, She's on youtube, this is Sproutlady " And there was Melody calmly talking about my Sprouting shelves and what I grow and they were asking the usual questions and I was laughing and talking about sprouting (as well as other funny things that have happened to me). Such a good time. So after 40 or so minutes I thanked them for inviting me, went around the corner to my own house, went in, grabbed a tray of chia and flax and said " I'm going to show them EXACTLY what these things look like " Because even though you tell someone about sprouts (and we are talking over 20 people here) there were children who never heard of sprouts. So there I went walking back into their side yard and passing around my tray and they were going oooh, what's this? when I said " Chia " , someone said " What's Chia? " and they all said " Oh you you know the commercial from years ago " CH CH CH CHIA!!!!! " And they said " oh this is the Chia Pet? " . That's when I began my dissertation on ORGANIC Chia as opposed to Chia Pet Chia. And then I pointed to the other sprouts on the tray and I said " you'll never guess what this is? " No one had a clue. I said " This is Flax " . Well, NO ONE knew what Flax was. They now do!!!! lol Melody
