Guest guest
Oh yes, I remember terrariums very well. I had some of those. But because I never grew anything I could EAT, well, I stopped doing that. But now!!! And guess what I just brought home? A set of two ziplock trays with lids. I'm going to poke holes in the lids (like the guy did with his laser) and I'm going to make two home made sprouter that when turned upside down, I'll put some growing medium in lid (with the holes), plant my microgreens and then put the bottom on (making the bottom as a lid). I'll make a video when I'm finished creating this. I have 10 x 20 trays. But this might be better because what if (during the summer) I'm growing a 10 x 20 tray of broccoli (and friends), and I get mold? I'll have to dump the whole tray. These things (while a nice size) are not so big that I will lose all the rest of the greens. I like to experiment. I like to make holes, I like to grow microgreens because of how they look, so today I shall be making holes. Let's see what happens. lol Melody > > > And I didn't do a darn thing. Just sprayed the inside of the humidity dome and of course I watered the baby blanket initially. I think I just got lucky. But they sure are pretty > > > > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0qOq8LF7ps > > > > And what I don't get is how come they look so different than when I sprout the exact same mixture. These grew up green and were very leafy (much more so than when I sprout). > > > > I can get used to this. lol > > > > Mel > > > > > > > >
