Guest guest
We bought one about 3 yrs. ago and then heard the story! I freaked out, unzipped the mattress like a crazy person but found it to be clean. I called the store right away and they said they had problems some years ago but have since added something to keep it mold free. If I had to do it over again I think I would look into the 100% cotton ones. They are expensive but probably better. Think of mattress you buy most places that have been wrapped in plastic and sitting in some damp warehouse. Makes me worry about most mattresses. Hi all, I had found info about mold in these mattresses before I bought a new mattress. I was seriously considering this brand up until that point. My friends have this mattress and they love what it does for their aches and pains but I didn't want to take a chance on the mold.
Guest guest
In addition to mold concerns, mattresses are generally treated with " flame reatardant " and is a law in most states that they are to be treated. Better to buy an organic mattress to be safe from mold and chemicals. D > > > We bought one about 3 yrs. ago and then heard the story! Guest guest
This whole discussion had me ripping (unzipping) the whole bed again! I used to do it frequently after I heard the story about the mold a few yrs. ago. Then I forgot about it until now. Everything was fine and we really do like it especially since we can control each side to what we each like. I sleep well with no headaches or other problems but I am also out of my moldy school, avoid many other places and stay at home most of the time. I also am still under the care of my Dr. and take my CSM twice a day without fail. My only problem is I still get tired easily and my short term memory is poor. If I go into a bad place I usually get sick for about 2 to 5 days depending on what and how much I was exposed to.
