Guest guest
Any experience with their 70 pint model for continuous basement and crawl space use? It's the only large capacity model available in our area. Will it work in the cool weather? Sante Fe is too expensive for now - and we need something right away but I'm glad to know it's out there for when we buy a new house. Guest guest
More than the square footage of the space, the other details may be more important, including layout, walls, barriers, fresh makeup air rate, ventilation patterns, point of the moisture source, ambient (or desired) temperature of the rooms, ambient or normal relative humidity of the rooms, usage, times per day the doors/windows are opened, the flow up and out of the space, and the mechanical in the spaces such as hot water tank and furnace, and the type of burners, gas or electric, and the type of exhaust flue (open or closed) and supply (open or closed). Then too you need to know that the dehu exhausts hot air, so your desired temp is effected. Does this help? In other words, give it a shot, it won't hurt. > > > > Any experience with their 70 pint model for continuous basement and crawl space use? > > > > It's the only large capacity model available in our area. Guest guest
Thanks everyone. Got it, it's working. Basement about 2000 sq feet with wood stove, electric water heater, 2 electric furnaces, not much of anything down there now.
