Guest guest
 The only soy that's healthy is fermented as miso. Tofu & all soy added in packaged foods & sups is processed poison b/c of genetic engineering. Soy is similar to estrogen, bind to it & can cause estrogen based cancers. Try a good brand of vit E to lesson hot flashes. There are other herbals that may help Kathy  <cherijadin@...> wrote: Subject: [] OT/ Soy Pills I have a question regarding soy. Prior to becoming so ill with mold issues, I was taking Healthy Woman Soy tablets from Walmart to help with hotflashes. I have been off them for months due to them not working anyway while being so sick (they worked before becoming so sick). Now that I am better, is it alright to take these soy tablets again or should I stay away from anything soy? Thanks for all your help. Guest guest
Hi Cheri, I am fairly new to this group. My health issues are not so much mold as they are Lyme disease. There isn't a soul on my huge Lyme group who would touch soy. We are all health freaks and have decades of years of extensive research on health issues. Almost all soy is GMO - need I say more? Soy is also heavily sprayed with pesticides. Soy is a phyto-estrogen. The protein in soy is very difficult for our bodies to digest. Soy baby formula is banned in Europe. Soy baby formula is equivalent to receiving 8 birth control pills/day (depending on brand). I've heard, but haven't seen the studies, that soy formula changes a baby's brain waves. We do know that boys or men who take a lot of soy will have breast development and weight gain. The bottom line is that the only safe form of soy *might *be organic. It should be fermented, as in tempe or tofu and consumed in very small quantities. It angers so many of us that soy and edemame are pushed as health food. It's garbage. You might consider doing a search for herbals that help with hot flashes. And remember, if doing research on soy to follow the money. Monsanto is the developer of the GMO soy and they are corrupt to the core. You will find arguments on both sides of the fence - just follow the money and decide for yourself. Sorry you are having this discomfort right now. Guest guest
For hot flashes I used Black Cohosh-excellent stuff and worked 100% for me. > > > > > > I have a question regarding soy. > > Prior to becoming so ill with mold issues, I was taking Healthy Woman Soy tablets from Walmart to help with hotflashes.
