Wireless: On most laptops you can turn off the wireless via the Operating System. If you have Windows Vista, go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Manage network connections. Right-click the Wireless Network Connection and select " Disable " . On some computers, there is an external switch or shortcut keys to do the same thing. 2. Electrical/grounding: If your computer has a 2-prong plug, unplug it at the outlet when you're using it and work on batteries. It's preferable to get a laptop with a 3-prong plug, e.g., HP laptop. Otherwise, body voltage can be very high. If you get a desktop, I read that you can even get a shielded cable from Radio Shack (Part number: 61-2860) - from: http://www.createhealthyhomes.com/safercomputers.php 3. Electric and Magnetic: Use a USB keyboard and USB mouse (e.g., ball-corded mouse) to keep a distance from the computer.
