Guest guest
Right now Im living in a hotel and Im feeling pretty close to normal, my headaches aren't to bad, the brain fog has cleared up somewhat and my skin irritation is barely noticeable. A month ago I had my truck remediated (ozone method) and not only was the chemical smell that lingered horrendous whenever I turned on the heater both me and my girlfriend would itch non stop. I went back to mold remediation company that did the truck and they couldn't understand why we were itching so they took out the cabin air filter and washed it out and sprayed some microban on it. That alone took care of 90% of the itching but I was still getting headaches so they remediated it again, wet and dry hepa vacuumed and added a citrus smell to eliminate the chemical smell. Two days later I decided to go ahead and put in a new cabin air filter in but now even though I constantly leave the windows cracked to allow fresh air in the cabin it still has a slight chemical smell and I still slightly itch when I turn on the heater. Could it be possible that the truck still has mold spores AFTER the truck has been remediated not once but twice or is it more likely that the chemical they used during the remediation process causing my headaches and itching? If the truck is still contaminated I dont know what Im going to do. I dont know how Im going to get a new vehicle, test drive it and drive it home without contaminating it as well. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated
