Hardly but thank you... did I mention how much of a wuss I am? I swear I was the biggest baby going thru this treatment. I know, looking back that I really wasn't but at the time I felt like I couldn't handle anything. I actually have some pretty hysterical stories of garbage that went on... I need to write a book.Hugs,Teri

Not amazing by any stretch of the imagination. I was just fighting for my life. I was also taking more than double the recommended amounts of Ribavirin and Interfuron. That was my doctors way. I guess that's why he has a 95% success rate with this treatment. If it doesn't kill you it will kill the virus! It almost killed me.Hugs,Teri

WOW...you are amazing. Tough as nails too. I think I will love having a water witch to watch my back.

Ramona,

They don't call me the water witch for nothing! I tend to harp on that aspect of treatment only because I was an idiot and didn't drink enough. I thought I was drinking enough.. 7 to 8 of gatorade bottles a day, not the individual ones the medium sized ones and water and tea on top of that. But it still wasn't enough. If you get enough fluids in you then you also won't have the anemia problem as badly. I needed 3 blood transfusions during treatment and got away with only having 2. The last one was needed at the very end and the doctor just moved up my last shot and took me off the ribavirins. My last shot wast taken just 3 days after the previous one. I took one on Friday and the last one the following Monday. Then I was in bed and down for the count for 2 more weeks. When it was over, I needed IV fluids. It was pretty

rough stuff. So yeah, water water water.

Hugs,Teri

Hi Doris,

I ordered 6 from and Noble yesterday at $13.52 each and shipping was

free. They shipped yesterday also, so should be here tomorrow.

Not sure if this is the best deal

I also rec'd The Myth of Autism book via Amazon yesterday.

Does anyone know if or where we can buy a larger quantity of this book

with perhaps a slight discount for buying in quantity?

It's a long time coming =)

I'd like to gift copies to my family ... son's teachers ... local

pediatrician ... Dr Zimmerman ..

local politicians ...

I want to thank those members who personally wrote to me to tell me what they'd

want to see in a book on the subject of WDBs and who sweetly thanked me for

taking on this task, knowing that it's a labor of love, not profit. l also want

to thank the experts, each of whom I've talked to about this, and who offered to

talk with me on the phone to fill in gaps of knowledge as I learn more and come

up with questions.

I won't be participating much anymore. Already I have been minimizing my time--I

have too much to do and am getting scatterbrained. But I'm also a little

disappointed with the tenor of some responses to discussion lately. On the other

hand, it's been really nice to see a lot of support given to each other, too,

and I hope that side of it continues.

Still, I will occasionally post. Thanks for all the feedback you've given me

about my still-bad, WDB situation. I hope I've been able to do the same.

AN

P.S. If you have any questions about my book that aren't interrogations :) feel

free to email me. But I am definitely not looking to harvest anything from

anyone.

(And get your permission, specifically if I would want to use my interview of

you in the book or if you've said anthing here of interest--but I doubt the

latter would happen. I am really only interested in the research on your web

site and, as we talked about over email, of getting clarification of anything

technical that I don't understand.)

I have a permissions form, too. We can talk about that on the phone, to make

sure you are comfortable.
