Guest guest
Not sure if anyone wants to try this: Many years ago a friend told me that to prevent mold in my car AC to do this (I did it faithfully): approx 5 min before approaching home / destination, turn the AC off and the blower on the highest setting. He said that will dry the AC out and prevents mold. He did not specify if that works in all climates. I had my 93 Toyota pickup for 10 years, never mold, no mold treatment. When my 2003 Toyota pickup was 5 yrs old, I had it in for an oil change/ maintenance, they recommended doing a treatment/ flush for prevention of mold in the AC, even though there was no mold. Just for the heck of it, I had it done. So far, no mold. .....Corky ________________________________ From: barb b w barb1283@...  ........A friend of mine was visiting here from Phoenix, picked me up in her car....!.
