any ideas for a secure top?

I use this 2.5 gal jug for making my KT. I want to secure the top with a

band or something around the cotton cloth I lay over the opening but there

is nothing to secure the band and it keeps slipping off the jug. Anyone

have any ideas? I would sure appreciate it.
