If you don't get a tetanus shot, what do you do if you get a dirty, filthy, bacteria-filled wound? Tetanus and the potential for it are nothing to take lightly. You have me concerned, so can you re-post your link or give the URL so I can type it into my path. Maybe the answer is in the article. Need to know the solution. Guest guest Posted November 30, 2010 Report Share Posted November 30, 2010 this was not my posting, but i can tell you that my holistic doctor told me years ago now that they now believe you do not need a tetanus shot every 10 years, that after a couple of them you are probably safe for life and don't need additional, that said, if you got a really nasty puncture wound with a rusty nail you might want to seek medical advice on the subject, as well i have read that too many tetanus shots can cause health issues. sue v. >This article cannot be found by my server.
