Guest guest
Very familiar with them and their history. Good news: The main ingrediant is citricidal, a long-chain fatty acid extracted from some species of grapefruit seed. Very effective anti-microbial with almost zero adverse effects on people. They are not registered with EPA as a biocide because they carefully monitor their claims AND they function under FDA rules, which has very different requirements. Not so good news: The company will not divulge what all the other ingrediants are that they mix with the citricidal. Even the EPA move for manufacturers to divulge " inert " ingrediants won't affect them because they are under FDA, not EPA. My personal opinion is while a list of names of products and uses for essentially the same product is common and makes good marketing sense, it often leads to a disservice and unnecessary expense for those individuals who most need help. I'd be interested in hearing how people have experienced these products. Despite my concerns they are usually better and " safer " than most. I strongly disagree with their use of mold plates to determine when there is a " problem " for reasons previously stated. Especially since I rarely see an interpretation of " no problem " except after they fog their product. I don't like their fogging moldy houses without appropriate determination of need, effect on contents, and first stopping the moisture, etc. On the other hand, under proper conditions, the fogging has been a literal life saver for some of my clients. I have no financial or other interest in the company but I have recommended them. I have also specifically NOT recommended them, based on situation, history, building type & use, occupant sensitivities, etc. Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC ----- Has anyone heard of this company ?? http://citrisafecertified.com/protocols.asp God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen

Guest guest
I'm very familiar with the company and use their mold solution on a regular basis. Walter the owner was exposed to toxic mold and nearly died from it and to this day still practices avoidance. If you call and place an order his wife usually takes it and if asked will more than likely share their experience with you. They really are a nice couple. > > Has anyone heard of this company ?? > > http://citrisafecertified.com/protocols.asp > > > God Bless
