Guest guest
I worked in WDB for years and there was one place in the building where the water leaked from the roof from the 4th floor down to the second floor. The leak went on for months. It looked like a waterfall comming down the wall in one professors office on the 3rd floor! They put a hole in the wall on the second floor to dry it out (not removing any mold whatsover) that building was eat up with mold, it was in the hvac system too and I think when they remodeled it they used chineese drywall to top it off. The facial pain was intense, the right side of my face hurt so bad when I walked down that hall, my teeth felt like they were gonna fall out of my head and it felt like I was being beat in the face with a hammer. Of course t I am not sure but I sorta think that the exposure from WDB could have caused a fungus ball in my sinuses, putting pressure on my teeth and hurting like you wouldn't believe. You could try doing a sinus rinse (netti pot) and see if it relieves any pain, and also the salt water rinses may help. I am going to do another ct scan of the sinuses when insurance will pay and see what results they find. I had 4 total teeth pulled, but am still having pain in the gum area 3 of the teeth that previously had root canals, it is still healing so its a wait and see kind of thing. Plus I have pain in the one beside those 3 root canals. Those root canals can be nasty in themselves. The pain is better than it was but I still miss my teeth. They could never find anything wrong with my teeth either in the many many xrays they took, I could taste a bitter taste, like an abcess, but the dentist could never see anything, he thought it was from the mold exposure. He wouldn't pull my teeth, but the pain was so bad, and Since the root canals were killing me I had them pulled by another dentist. It's really funny that after they were pulled I started blowing out chunks of blood and green dried up mucous from my nose, after all the antibiotics I had been on nothing had helped. I am still searching for answers, but I do know for sure that the building I was in had excessive mold and my teeth ached like hell when I was in it and continues to give me pain although I am out of the building now, it only leads me to believe it could be a fungus ball in the sinuses that developed from the mold exposure, who knows ?, let me know how your stuff turns out. Good luck. Oh does anyone know of a dentist/doctor that can test my removed teeth for mold? My endodontist says they have found mold in teeth before!!! > > I went to the dentist, after she took a look at the x-rays she said she couldnt see anything but most of the tooth was covered by a cap from the bridge but what little the x-ray showed there wasn't a cavity. She went on and told me with all the poking and prodding she did she felt the tooth at the time was " clinically " fine and if it were her tooth she wouldn't do a thing to it. She did say that even though I took such good care of my teeth and gums my gums were swollen in that area and there was something definitely going on back there but because of my exposure she didn't feel it was safe to give me an antibiotic. I just brushed my teeth and there's definitely a sensative spot on the tooth but beings it's the weekend I'll have to live with it till Monday. Neither the cold or heat bother the tooth but every once in awhile I get a sharp stabbing pain so I'm almost positive there's a cavity but beings the tooth is an anchor for the bridge I'm going to live with it for as long as possible and hopefully the pain will go away on it's own (not) >
Guest guest
Wow-this is amazing. Thank you for your story-it clears up so many mysteries about my teeth! I had a root canaled tooth hurt for years after until I got rid of all the mold and suddenly...no pain! Thanks again!
