Thank you, Kathi. Glad you liked it. I am deeply concerned for the

decaying soul of America.

When concerns of retribution or loss of stature color one's decision of

whether to do the right thing to stop a known wrong, and that concern becomes

the deciding factor for action or lack there of...the decency in a society

collapses.

This CYA type of behavior makes it harder for the next person to speak out

without experiencing a wrath of retaliation and retribution. Lack of action

to stop a wrong then becomes an action by inaction which aids and abets

in furthering deception.

Since the turn of the century, THAT is what has been happening to the soul

America in many instances and in many issues. THAT is the true legacy of

the eight years of the Bush Administration. Self justification of fear of

retribution or fear of loss of stature causing failure to stop known wrongs,

has become a norm and acceptable behavior in our society.

There have always been and will always be corrupt elements in our society.

That has not changed and will not change. What has changed is that there

are now more " Good Men " who fail to stop wrongs because it could be

detrimental to their own best interests, and this is now acceptable behavior.

Not in my book.

THAT' IS MORALLY WRONG AND IS THE TRUE THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY!!!

As the saying goes " Evil flourishes when good men stand by and do

nothing " . I think the mold issue has served as a perfect illustration of how

and

why evil flourishes at the hands of good men; and how detrimental this is to

the soul of America.

Sharon this is excellent and says it all!!!!! My little Catholic school

stood by and did NOTHING and are still open 6 years later!!!!!

Yep. One would think that it wouldn't be so difficult to have good men

stand up and say that you cannot take a rat study, add some math and set

public health policy that no one is being made ill from mold.

It is utterly amazing to me that this is still considered current accepted

science in US Courts; and anyone who says otherwise may have a valid point

but they fall outside the norm. This is illustrated by the recent ruling

in the Abad case in Az.
