Guest guest
sometimes my migraines aren't caused by inhaled exposures. sometimes I know they go along with bowel flareups and or something I ate or drank. I do have a cup, sometimes two of coffee in the morning, just cant get motivated without it. I've noticed that if it's to strong I might start getting a migraine. yesterday I had a horiable migrane, actually the last few days it's been working on me. I had absolutely nothing on hand to help relieve it. now I had bought some chocolate a few days before. I crave chocolate quite often. my thought on consumeing were conflicted, the nurse at Shoemakers said it was ok. people in this group say it's not. so I really try not to eat it , I do. heres whats interesting. theres alot of different chocolate, theres lots of different migraines. anyway, yesterday I was just in a world of pain and I was setting there trying not to move or much of anything else as the stabbing pain of migraine did it's thing. I new I had nothing to help, no pain killers, no excederin (that sometimes helps but not that often) and I thought about that chocolate I bought, still setting there. and my craveing still being there. I thought what the heck, I know that sometimes chocolate,or certain kinds of chocolate can cause me to get headackes, but how much worse can it get rightnow, it was one of those migraines where you just think, let me throw up or something, anything to make it go away. so, I got the chocolate and very slowly ate it and holy cow, my migrane went away. once again I gave in to my craveing and it's may of just been exactly what my body needed. so I was trying to remember, does chocolate boost sarotonin or dopamine. I was thinking dopamine, thinking coffee does to. maybe what really matters is balance. do we crave what our body needs to balance some brain chemistry when theres brain chemistry disfunctions going on there. thought this article was interesting.
