Guest guest
Hi all, once somethibg has been cross contaminated, ie bedding is it all over for the whole dwelling? Is it possible to wash such items and decontaminate them? Have had apillow for 3 weeks and last night was getting scratchy throat and irritated eyes and nasal passage as if breathing mold in. Nothing else has changed eg clothes worn to bed, new shampoo or any other products in the room. Thoughts?
Guest guest
I get my bedding and pillows from National Allergy. They work for me anywasys. In a message dated 11/20/2010 10:11:24 A.M. I would remove the pillow to outdoors, wash the bedding and clean the room, some people use a small blanket stuffed into a pillow case, because it can be washed, and a pillow cant. Right on your face, has to be real clean. I find a good pillow, and put a waterproof cover on it so I can wipe it down when I wash the outer cover, course I buy cheap pillows because I alway seem to get them contaminated somehow. Guest guest
Lets see, I stayed in at my sisters house for almost 2 weeks, no relief. I stayed in one hotel room for another 2 weeks and actually felt worst (water damage in bathroom). I changed hotels and have moved twice within the past week and half and the room Im in without a doubt is the best room so far Robin, a year ago after my first exposure I posted about moving to 3 different hotel rooms within a month and not getting any relief. I cant remember who it was but one of the other members sent me an email and suggested the possibility of my body off gassing and that could be why I haven't started feeling better. I dont know if its possible for your body to off gas but at the time it did make sense. Two weeks ago my Dr switched me from Sporanox to Diflucan for a month. I am no longer taking CSM due to finances and use the ketoconazole nasal spray on a need be basis again due to finances. > > That might be so, Tug.. how long have you stayed in one place? > > I am reacting like crazy here.. possibly unmasking and detoxing.. I hope.. and its so hard to tell if I am being triggered by places or not, not to mention cross contamination. > > Its just one big messy puzzle. > > I just took 2 edta chelation complex tabs and my sinus brain inflammation went down dramatically.. now who would have thought.. metals moving? > > The only reason I did is that these symptoms are very similar to when I took nasal glut and IV glut and my brain inflammed. So I trialed the edta. > > If I am in a clean enough place, I supposedly will start to detox exp given I am addressing my methylation issues with the proper supps. Now I am wondering if I need to back off of the dosing on some of them. > > I was also taking chlorella in my mold house and stopped here. I think chlorella binds more than it pulls and I need to find a way to work this into my regime and see what happens. > > > Robin
Guest guest
Smart move, Tug. I do have a supportive family and part of that I pay a price for in a sense.. cant control their every move. Have to let go and make the best of the situation. I would love to have been able to find a place in the desert but there is no way. If my health went downhill or I dont improve here at all, then I know they will support me to move again, but the price is so high. The guilt of putting them in that position.. the cost of moving a family yet again.. the uprooting of a family... there is no perfect situation for sure. Robin > > > > I can relate to where your coming from Robin as far as not being able to move but sometimes moving isnt always the answer. First the first time since April I feel Im in a safe place but its only temporary and living in this hotel is a short term solution to a long term problem. Sooner or later Im going to have move to an apartment as this hotel as nice and as safe as it is, is just a little to expensive for me. > > Your fortunate in that you have your family to give you the emotional support you need but I sit here in this hotel alone and worried about what tomorrow will bring. Other then the clerk at the grocery store I cant remember the last time I had an actual face to face conversation with someone and I cant much rely on my family as they all believe this is in my head and Im some sort of nutcase. I've always said that just because Im alone doesnt mean Im lonely but times have changed, not only am I alone but Im lonely as well. Come Monday Im going to make an appointment with a therapist going through this is alone is a little more than I can handle. > > Tug >
