Special Education Law for Charter School

My son is high functioning, 5 years old and diagnosed with ASD. We are going

through the process of Independent Evaluation, Mediation with our school. During

early this year I filled application for Charter school. We were informed this

week that he is accepted and we are happy about it, as this school has high

academic standards. My concerns

1. Does anyone have experience with Special Education Law for Charter school? Do

they follow NJAC, Special Education law as Public schools?

2. If we transfer to Charter school what would happen to Independent Eval and

Mediation that are currently going on with Public School?

3. Does anyone has experience with Special Education with Charter school.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
