Surella, What are some methods you used at Health Institute for detoxing?

digestion and I do have a suggestion for that.

called Optimum Health Institute and the program is for detoxing. They don't

focus on any one thing-people go for all kinds of stuff and I go for mold-but

the detoxing is amazing!

detoxing which I can't really afford but the results are solid even for the one

week.

It's really very simple over there-it's raw food-alot of sprouts, not much else;

wheatgrass juice (which you squeeze yourself so you can drink as much as you

want) 2x a day if you can handle it; there is juicing Tuesday, Wednesday and

Thursday of every week but you are free to choose real food if you can't handle

it; colonics (which I love but are not for everybody either; and lymphatic

cleansing exercises 2x a day. You are discouraged from eating absolutely

anything else-no vitamins, etc either-and at first you just crave sugar. But

this is a truly detoxing diet. There are classes on foods, cooking, meditating,

that kind of stuff and all really good.

After a week of pure food, I feel great. There is a huge difference in my

breathing and my eyes (they usually burn). You lose some weight but in a healthy

way and the weight always stayed off for me.

I have been there 10 times, my Mom 35 times, it is priceless.

If I could do a raw diet at home I would be less sick. I try to incorporate alot

of what OHI teaches but I'm not 100% raw yet.

you can get the seed and grow wheatgrass in dirtless trays at home. I've

considered it but did read that there can be mold involved, but I'd trust it

more by growing it myself than buying it already prepared. supposed be a pretty

good detoxer/cleansing theropy.

cant remember now, a certain kind /brand from somewhere is the best to get seeds

from. thinking wiki had something on that.

I think wheat grass is hard to tolerate if you are sensitive to gluten-it's very

powerful. I would try it in small amounts and see how it goes.
