Kind of sad...

Kind of bummed. I learned today that my son will not be participating in the

kindergarten graduation. There are like 5 or 6 kindergarteners in his SDC class

and they ALL refused to go to rehearsal. His SDC teacher also said she has no

help and support regarding the graduation and there is a lot of waiting and so

on...I was looking forward to this all year. But I guess I shouldn't be

surprised. Last year at preschool graduation, while he was in front of everyone

with his classmates, he didn't fully participate. Mostly he sat there and put on

or played with the props, but he didn't sing or dance.

There is an awards ceremony in his SDC class on Thursday, though, so I am hoping

his teacher at least presents the kindy's with their diplomas then. On the

bright side, I know he is getting an award in art. Apparently he entered the Art

Fair and WON!! We didn't make it to the Fair, so the teacher said she will be

giving it to him on Thursday.

I am sorry. I know how hard this is. While my son did do his preschool and kinder graduation, he couldn't participate in his 3rd grade music program or the end of the year skating party. What really sucks, my son is very musical. But, his behaviors got in the way. Sent from my iPhone
