Guest guest
Just wanted to drop in real quick and say HI to everyone from yesterday. It was so great to be with you all, , Elena, it was great to see you again. Barb it was GREAT to finally meet you! Peggy it was great to meet you too. Robin, and Val nice to see you (robin) again, and to meet Val. Phyllis, more great people to meet! Who am I missing??? Suzi!!! What a surprise!! It was great to finally meet you too! More later! I'm still a bit dissapointed that we didn't get to talk as a group. The man at QVC was a real jerk (one of them) and muttered how he didn't care about the internet group, and it was all about what looked good on TV. Gals/guys please remember that the TAE BO people (Joan Prince, , Shellie, etc, Michele) know what Tae Bo is really about... and they tried their best to get our group together. I wish the rest of the group could have at least been behind us. I hated that they kept asking me how long, how much weight have you lost, I wanted to talk about the inside, I do remember mentioning self esteem, will power and what BIlly said about the inside... then I got quickly cutt off from barely what I remember to " how many pounds... " blah blah and I got a bit disoriented. I really wanted to say what I had planned, but it's quite a different matter with all these cameras and mikes shoved in your face!!!!!! They don't give you any real clues as to when you should stop working out and start talking to them other than they shove the mike in your face after standing next to you for about 10 minutes, so you never know what to do! I was feeling really panicky but I kept my stupid smile on! I just wanted to say the most incredible thing was meeting all of you gals (and some guys/husbands!). OF course, being in the front row OPPOSITE and Shellie and Michele was amazing!! Everytime I started to get lazy or sloppy, I could see them looking at me and saying, " Come on, you can do it! " . One time I remember I was doing lazy knee raises and looks right at me (I was DIRECTLY in front of him) and he goes, " come on girl, get that knee up! " and I was like !!!! So I did! Then he said, " THat's better! " Now maybe he was talking to the camera, but I know his eyes looked right at me. He is so incredible. I got to take a few photos with , signing my book, then a few posing in a horse stance next to him GOD I hope they turn out! And one with AManda, and I in a horsestance! I can't wait to see, I'm dropping my film off today!!!! I got a photo with Shellie (that was nice enough to shoot on her camera since my hub's ran out of film just as Shellie was signing my book and talking to me!) And Shellie gave me the biggest hug I almost cried! THen I went and talked to Michele a bit along with the rest of the internet group. I sat down next to her, and I really have a new respect for her. SHe is such a kind person, and all that she does makes her truly amazing... she was the easiest to talk to, and she recognized me from the boards when I gave her my name and she hugged me and told me it was great to finally meet me. She signed my book too and we talked for a bit. Lunch with the egroups gals was great! It was a blast. I was so tired yesterday and so sore from not having worked out regularly for 2-3 weeks because of being sick. But somehow I made it! It was a day I will remember forever. Thank you gals for being there with me it helped more than you know!!! !!! Amy

I definitely got the impression that QVC was in charge and that even was there for show in their opinion. and the crew are definitely aware of our group. Once when I went up to Shellie (I think to introduce her to Barb?), I said I don't know if you know that we are all from the egroups and she said that she knew. She seemed to remember us from LA. By the way, I told her that we will be there in October for my birthday. She said her and Irene's birthday is the following week (Oct. 13th). I hope Shellie is there when we are there. won't though, because she has a wedding to go to. You all should have seen Amy taebo. It is a lot of pressure to be in the front row. Everyone (and I'm talking a hundred people) are watching her because she's in the front row and they can't really see and Shellie. She did GREAT! By the way, Amy, I'm sure was talking to you. He's very observant. If you were relaxing too much, he would have noticed and said something. That's just the way he is. He fixed my fly move on Friday night (I was letting my elbows sag and scrunching my shoulders too much) and caught me doing the wrong arm position on an ab move. Not much gets by him. I second what Amy said about . Watching her it is obvious that she is a very kind, caring person. She seems even more relaxed than she was in LA. She seems to have found her groove. I like the way she hung out with us. Elena
Guest guest
Hi, just wanted to say hello and let everyone know I survived the QVC experience and what an experience it was. It was amazing time, I can't even explain the feeling of meeting , Shellie and Michele, they truly are gifted from the inside out. Also was wonderful to meet everyone from the egroups, you made me feel like you knew me forever, it was a real pleasure to be with you and have you part of my first tae bo experience. I am still on a tae bo high, I just could ramble on and on and can't believe I acted like a groupie. I will share pictures soon, I hope they turned out ok. Hugs to all, Phyllis If anyone has the opportunity to workout with , do not hesitate, it is something you will always remember. I was afraid and almost chickened out but so thankful that I went....hubby also enjoyed.
