Tell EPA and CDC we need Bio-monitoring for the most commonly used pesticides

Many current laws on the books to safeguard children aren't being

enforced. While one in six children has a learning problem, our

schools are being daily contaminated with chemicals that actually

impair intellectual functioning. As a teacher working with special

needs preschoolers ten years ago in NYC, I lost 24 IQ points to the

'newer' types of pesticides in use. A decade later, pediatricians

still can't test children for exposure to these chemicals because EPA

and CDC see no reason to ensure such bio-monitoring of these chemicals

is even possible--of the type that saw an end to the use of Dursban

within indoor environments!

I just completed a dialogue with EPA regarding this problem. Read it
