After being awarded a Purple Heart and losing both legs in Afghanistan,

22-year-old Corey Kent and his family say they found filthy conditions,

including dirt and mold on the floors, at the VA hospital......On Friday, the

hospital publicly apologized to his family. " We're sorry if we didn't live up

to his expectations. We're sorry about that, " said spokesperson Carolyn

.The hospital allowed 10 News to shoot video in certain, selected areas.

Most of what our cameras saw was clean, but we did find a few dirty spots,

even though a cleaning crew had recently been in the public bathroom. As

for the pictures Kent's family says they snapped inside the hospital,

said she can't respond because she doesn't know for sure that's where they

were taken. " Everything you see, doesn't necessarily mean it's real or

true, " she explained.

Quite a snotty " apology " , eh?
