Guest guest
nne, Do you smell mold elsewhere or just at the entrance? Are you okay in your unit if you don't breath the air when you go through the entrance? Carl Grimes Healthy Habitats LLC (fm my Blackberry) [] What to do short of moving again? I`am in a large affordable housing complex thats quite nice. I`am currently being recertified again for the upcoming year. I live on disability and not much else. I`ve little to go on to move around and find someplace else to live. My apartment is mold free but last year after all the spring rains, I smell mold in the front entrance of my bldg. I have brought it up to management a few times. They could care less and would rather see me leave than cause a problem. The waiting list to get into this place a mile long. Any suggestions? Now that the weather is colder, windows shut, I can really smell it if my nose isn`t blocked. I try to remember to always block my nose and not talk as I pass by that entryway all of less than 60 seconds long... After I`am recertified , if I`am recertified, should I call Board of Health and show then the mold test kit I took? Don`t get me wrong, I do have my eyes looking if something were to come up elsewhere, I`d go as fast as my slow body would carry me... Any sugguestions appreciated.. Guest guest
Yes Carl, in my unit it seems to be fine. Its in The front entrance and I have to stand there and wait for the elevator. Not sure exactly where its coming from but I sure can smell it. Doc`s told me my body is full of toxins I hate to be breathing in more as I`am trying to rid myself of this crap. Right now I`am just holding my breath as I wait. nne~ > > nne, > > Do you smell mold elsewhere or just at the entrance? Guest guest
Thank you so much Carl.. Unfortunately, I`am alone with this one. I`am highly sensitized to the smell and I haven`t found anyone other than my grandaughter who also is sensitive to mold (7 yrs. old) that smells it either. I did purchase one of those Home Depot kits and it filled up the container. Big deal if no one else but me can smell it... I`am trying so hard to get this crap out of me, I`ve been sick for sooo many years. I just hate to think I`am adding insult to injury. I did buy one of those " now I can breathe " masks. You should see the looks I get from the other tenants when I walk by.. > > nne, > > It sounds like you need to protect yourself only in the front > entrance.
