Guest guest
Fey -- It's the nature of internet groups, forums, and e-mail lists, especially lower-volume ones, that some related, non-related, and personal chatter gets woven in. It keeps people interested and available and lets them " get to know " each other. For contrast, tech forums tend to discourage this; they tend to be nasty places where " RTFM! " is a common response to questions and personal attacks are common. Posters cycle in briefly and leave after they get their answer and there is little " community " . I'm guessing that you probably know all this. You're welcome to jump in anytime with a sprouting question.
