Guest guest
I don't really know but I heard that Montel's is cheaper in quality. I don't really know as I haven't used it. I have only heard good things about Vitamix and have watched them for years and years. I remember seeing a demo in a mall when my daughter was young, maybe in 5th grade and she is about 48 years old now. I wanted one then and she did too. Later on was in a BX and they had an announcement that they had a demo and a sale going on and we were there together with my husband and went to see and we both ended up buying one. We both still have them. That was close to 20 years ago. Her husband does a lot on his juicer though and I am surprised he doesn't do it in the Vitamix as it gets all the fiber. I think it is just what he is used to as he juiced when they got married. He is the one who told me about the Ceylon Cinnamon. he has been riding his bike to and from work and is looking better than I have ever seen him. She uses the Vitamix for grinding wheat berries for flour and doing a lot of things. Don't think she makes soup or icecream with it though. She used to have a big family for making it in that but now 3 of the kids are gone and just one left at home with them.  I think the Vitamix lasts longest. Many people have 2 of the 3. Seems a bit much to me. But there may be more use for one in the family. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Thursday, May 10, 2012 8:28 AM Subject: Re: VitaMix  I got mine from QVC. It is the Creations GC. Has a 64 oz container & if you're interested in saying doing soups does them in about 4 min compared to the first one (which I was able to return & get credit for YEAH!) which was 7+ min. Most things I find blend faster really watch the ice cream LOL. Why QVC (besides being a junkie) they usually have easy payments. Mine was over 5 month. They have started carrying Blendtec & Montel one. You could do a comparison on 3 to see Debbie in NJ > > I've decided to take the plunge and buy my first VitaMix. Can anyone advise as to which model they prefer and why? Thanks! >
