Guest guest
Are there other Indian stores besides in Tallahassee?  Do you mean East Indian rather than Native Americans? If so, then there are likely to be East Indian stores near anyone. I have gone to a restaurant but not a grocery. Some of it was sure spicy. Carolyn Wilkerson  To: sproutpeople Sent: Monday, April 2, 2012 1:14 AM Subject: indian food stores  When I visit Tallahassee, I stop by the Indian store and stock up on seeds and spices. fenugreek seeds are about $3.00 for a lb. Sesame seeds black and white were the same. I picked up lentils in many colors all sprouted. They have mustard seeds as well. Can these all be used for microgreens? I am looking at any seeds in the grocery store and trying them out to see if they sprout. My budget can't come up with these high prices and high shipping costs. Guest guest
I am on a tight budget too. I do the same thing @ my local Indian grocery. Had good luck with lentils & mungs. The only drawback is that they are not organic. But, again I'm on a tight budget, so they work for me. > > When I visit Tallahassee, I stop by the Indian store and stock up on seeds and spices. > fenugreek seeds are about $3.00 for a lb.
