Dehulling with salad spinner

I tried dehulling with the OXO Salad Spinner and only a few hulls were

separated. This is the Good Grips Spinner. Any tips on how to do this? I

didn't have luck with putting them in a bowl of water and scooping the hulls

from the surface, either. I'm stumped on how to do this.
