Question about hearing loss

Hi everyone,

I recently read an article about hearing loss in children with DS and was

shocked to discover that possibly 80 percent of individuals have some hearing

loss often from middle ear infections. I'd be interested to know how you have

dealt with this. I've been reading that cleanings by an ENT specialist every 3

months is a good idea and other places say every 9 months. Just trying to sort

through all the information and wondering if anyone could offer any advice or

share their particular experience.

Will is now 3 months old and he passed the hearing test at birth...just don't

want to miss anything.
