Guest guest
HI Barb, 1) what is the name of the lab in Northern Carolina? I am asking because my son tested positive for bartonella early on in his illness, he took a couple months of an herbal formula called A-Bart made by a local herbalist and available at Gordon Medical in Santa , then he did a month or two of septra/rifampin, retested for bartonella at Igenex in Palo Alto, tested less positive, retested 6 months later and tested negative, the treatment did nothing for his sypmtoms though, now I am wondering if it is possible that the treatment really didn't work.... 2) I thought the best lyme lab was Igenex in Palo ALto.... Best, Sue V. >Well, Bart is the suspect, not Lyme but since they are treated >similarly, mentioned Lyme. I closed my house up for a year, left my cat >there w pet door open and stopped in daily to put food and water down, >
Guest guest
There are so many posts in the Bart group, I cannot find it except for this excerpt: > > It was my understanding (based on conversation I had with the director of Galaxy) that the previous protocol done by Breitschwerdt at the University lab was no longer available through them but bec they are not doing it, the University is accepting samples again. " They do something like PCR and culture combination. It is the Un of N. Carolina associated w their vet med school. There is so much less politics in vet medicine that in many ways they have freedom to pursue things better than their human conterparts. If your son has been diagnosed w Bart, go to below. Treatment is similar to lyme but not the same: bartonella/ > > HI Barb, > > 1) what is the name of the lab in Northern Carolina? > >
