Guest guest
Hello, Be aware that borax does not dissolve. I use it to clean. I put about an inch or so of borax in a gallon jug, add water & shake. I wait days foor it to settle. The water is then slippery & the borax forms a rock at the bottom of the container - especially bad for septics. Borax doesn't rinse well either if that matters to you. You sort of need vinegar or citric acid (available at a pharmacy) to rinse it off. The detergent I use is Country Save powder. I put about a half scoop in a jar with a liitle water & shake & leave it til laundry time. This dissolves but it doesn't dissolve well if I just put it in the machine. But orax is far less expensive. > > I have a Frigidaire front loading washer and would like to start using borax when I do my laundry. Since these washers use less water and require HE liquid detergent how much borax should I use and how should it be applied, should I put it in the soap dispenser or in the drum itself? > > Thanks > > Tug >
Guest guest
I would add it to the drum itself but I don't know how much. May be you could call the frigidaire service dept. I have a Frigidaire front loading washer and would like to start using borax when I do my laundry.
